Asians vs Non-Asian
2-2
Asians:
2
Scorers: Jason, Reagan
Non-Asians:
2
Scorers: Jordan, Justin

Man of the Match: Jason. As usual nice quick feet with some spiffy passing and some nice finishing. Deserved Man of the match today, congrats.

Honourable Mentions:

Tonga: An all around solid performance. Defending and attacking with gusto. Taking on three Non-Asian players at a time is an impressive skill you have.

Agam: Always tough to be put inbetween the posts but he made some good saves and in the second half defended well.

Thursday 28 May 2009 (c)

Today's game was pretty good for a change. Instead of having the year 12's dominate play we had them verse us. Might I just say we put out a very good performance.

2 - 0 15 minutes in. Unfortunately defense broke down (mainly because the 6 people on Luca still let him get past.) So they scored one and then Montie shielded his face from a speedy ball with his hands, resulting in a penalty. So at half time the score was 2 - 2

Second half was brilliant play by almost everyone, goals were flying everywhere and a stunning second half hatrick for Norman saw year 11's win 8 - 4, granted the year 12's were fairly out numbered.

Man of the Match: Stunning match, three goals in the second half alone. His last goal was a wonderful piece of finishing. Crosses, passing and shots were perfect, he was a constant threat to the year 12's. Good game:

Honourable Mentions:

Montie: Played very well, defended like it was 1964. He cleared dangerous balls and made the year 12 attackers jobs very difficult.

Tonga: Dominated attack today, holding up the ball, good passing, dribbling and ball control.

Chris: Despite missing several shots he mostly put others first. If there was someone in a better position than him, he'd pass it off rather than go for the shot. His last shot of the second half was literally 2cm away from being a goal. Unlucky.

Agam: Another quality defender, cleared balls, tackled well, passed well. Solid defending.

TQ: Made a fair few decent saves.

Jason: Sorry about forgetting you, there's so many players to remember. Jason played very well today, setting up Norman several times, quick dribbling and taking on defenders. Was always in a good position to recieve ball and had a very good game. Nice.

Today's game was weak. Year 12's played and pretty much ruined the game.
=(

Man of the Match: Chris =). 100% effort, got himself some good chances. Started on the year 12's with no help from anyone. A constant threat in attack, probably the only player worth mentioning.

Honourable Mentions:
Noone =(.

Hopefully tomorrow will be better with less year 12's.

Jordan Welsh is not posting today's game. He gets to kick back and relax at his friend's house. He fully deserves it after posting many games. Tonga Tong, the Asian FC skipper gets to post today's game. Ok here goes:
Today's game was fantastic! One of the best games this term. Blistering winds that chilled everyone's spine and very wet grass due to rain didn't stop anyone from producing some good football. The defending was the main highlight of this game. Slide tackles, blocking, tackling and interceptions were picture perfect from all defenders.
The first and second half, the possession was 50-50 between the two rivals. Thats how well the two sides played. Passing display, teamwork, and defending was world class. A couple of missed chances was why Non-Asians didn't score any goals today!
A few minor milestones were made today! Asian FC's first clean sheet of the season and their skipper Tonga scoring his 30th goal this season! Congratulations to all Asian FC players! You done the skipper proud!
Man Of the Match:
Alex: Everyone played well today, but this kid here shined the brightest! His committed slide tackles, vision, and rock solid tackles to protect his goals, was sensational today. Nice Work!
Honourable Mentions:
Asian Alex: Played sensational today. His pace, unlimited stamina, provided the rock solidness in the Asian defence. Keep it Up!
Quan: his aggressiveness in tackling helped his team with a clean sheet. Well done!
Ben: You helped your team stopping many attacks by the opposition. Good work!
Agam: played very well today, blocking most of the shots with your body and you laughing despite the cold weather. your a crazy awesome friend!
Tonga: a goal and an assist, sealed victory for Asian FC.
Vincent: fantastic passing and dribbling today. fantastic stuff!
The rest: sorry can't remember any more players, but you all played very well under cold weather conditions.
Note to Jordan: remember to record scores, man of the match, goal difference.

Asians vs Non-Asians
2 - 3

Asians:
2
Scorers: Kia, Jamal (Own goal)
Non-Asians:
3
Scorers: Andrew, Montie, Mat

There's no denying it, the Mount Lawley Senior High school Premier League has been losing it's entertaining edge. However today's game has silenced the critics with a highly entertaining 3-2 win to Non-Asians FC. It was a superb game with Non-Asians FC dominating the first half and Asians FC dominating the second half.

Man of the Match: Lot's of people played well today so it was put to the viewers to decide man of the match today.
Mat: Ripper of a goal, he's getting a reputation for his beautiful long shots.

Honourable Mentions:

Jamal: Jamal certainly spiced the game up today. Some brilliant heading, clearing, tackling and passing would've gotten him man of the match no sweat but some minor discrepancy lost it for him. By minor discrepancy I mean catching the ball in mid air for no reason, resulting in an AFC free kick and then getting in a rumble with AFC's Jason. As well as putting the ball into his own net, when he decided to fly kick the ball away from NAFC's keeper and into the goals.

Andrew: A goal and a brilliant performance in the first half. Passes, crosses, shots and dribbling were at it's finest.

Edmond: Help full in the midfield, winning the ball and passing it off.

Jordan: Played pretty well in between the posts. Made several nice saves and was pretty unlucky to concede two goals, one coming from Jamal's fly kick own goal and one from Jordan slide tackling the ball away from Tonga, it landing perfectly for Kia who chipped it, leaving him no chance

Norman: The usual good performance from Norman, good passing, dribbling, tackling, shots and the rest.

Quan: Posed a constant threat to NAFC, always lurking around the goals ready to pounce. Linked up with Tonga and Kia nicely.

Asians vs Non-Asians
2 - 2

Asians:
2
Scorers: Brian, Kia
Non-Asians:
2
Scorers: Riley, Norman

It's been a tough week for the MLSHS PL. Year 9's having the field for Tuesday and Monday and Wednesday being only half a day. Non the less, the football is still entertaining. Asians were outnumbered today as the year 12's decided to side with Non-Asians. Still Asians put up a good fight and held NAFC to a draw.

Man of the Match: Norman: Scored a nice goal today as well as defending well. Passing was also good.

Honourable Mentions:

Agam: Defended wave after wave of NAFC attack. Well done.

Jemal: Defended well, passed the ball around nicely and was having a good game until he hurt his back dribbling the ball.

Asian Alex: Good keeping, made some vital saves.

Chris: Some nice effort out there. Your header looked good and nearly went in. Made some nice tackles in the oppositions half and was always in space. Good game.
