Asians vs Non-Asians
4 - 4

Asians:
4
Scorers: Jason (2), Mikey, Angelo
Non-Asians:
4
Scorers: Norman (2), Langdon (2)

Today's match was a wonderful match, ending in a 8 goal thriller. Cracking goals went in the back off the net, good position roles by all players, wonderful defending to prevent victory, beautiful first touches, dribbling and passes going around, the perfect ingredients of a rivalry soccer match. In the Second half AFC kept NAFC pinned in there own half and if it weren't for some pretty decent keeping from Edmond AFC would have easily stolen the victory.

Man of the Match: Tonga. Its not funny. 5 on 1, your on the floor, you keep the ball, get up and continue. Defending is equally just as good. Your passing play and ball control were sensational as usual.

Honourable Mentions:

Norman: Scored 2 goals, including 1 super goal, a sensational shot from an impossible angle. Fantastic stuff to keep Non-Asians from utter failure.

Jason: Scored two goals to keep Asians on the hunt to winning the MLSHS Premier League. good use of pace and dribbling in his usual left wing position to scare the opposition

Mikey: teamed up with Tonga, Jan and Jason on the attack with beautiful killer through passes
and dribbling to earn him a goal. Nice!!

Edmond: Good goalkeeping, came out at appropriate times, good reflexes and positioning.

Asian Alex: Excellent display of work by Alex in his defensive midfield role- preventing opposition from attacking and passing display was fantastic. Great!

  4. truly sorry to everyone especially Jordan, I wasnt here to help Jordan record the results of the score at that time. He must be crying right now because he didnt do a good enough job to impress the fans/soccer players on the blog today.

  9. everyone has ran away from the oval.

theres like not that many ppl as before, which is good cos that means the oval wont be over-crowded and itll be easier to pass/kick the ball etc.

  10. Todays match was a wonderful match, ending in a 8 goal thriller. Cracking goals went in the back off the net, good position roles by all players, wonderful defending to prevent victory, beautiful first touches, dribbling and passes going around, the perfect ingredients of a rivalry soccer match.

A 4-4 draw was not satisfying enough for either side, so the captains will be back to the drawing boards discovering new tactics, and formations so they can hopefully win tomorrow.

lol freaaaky i was just about to text u riley o_O
have you? i think i may need some expert help from you tomoro ^^

bout the lack of comments - i guess everyone is actually busy doing homewrk and study these days..

  17. Jordan I hope you see this because I havent disappointed you by not giving you the scores today. You better be lurking/trolling.

Polina turns 16 today? COOL! Happy Birthday Polina! Have a sweet sixteenth as the girls would say.

Yeah there has been less comments this term because everyone is anxious/nervous about the Year 11 exams that are coming up. They have to study so they can have a bright future for themselves, and achieve their personal goals. O respect that. Dont worry, after the exams i'm sure their will be 200 or more comments coming through each night.

  18. thanks for the A+ Anneliese. i really appreciate that.

    ReplyDelete
  19. lol, yeh, very freaky...
and 'expert help'? i am perhaps the least expert in the whole class.
as for ppl actually studying, i find that highly unlikely, there must be some other reason, eg. another DOTA tournament or something

    ReplyDelete
  20. not enough trolls = boring = find better things to do

    ReplyDelete
  21. actually, i should rly be doing that instead of being here shouldnt i...
eh, im fucked whether i study or not, screw that
no amount of study could save me

  22. riley if you put your mind to it, you can do it. perserverance, determination and hard work will assure you success. but to have success you sometimes need some failure.

    ReplyDelete
  23. wise words tonga.

sounds like you've been through it all.

    ReplyDelete
  24. tonga has never failed in his life, dont be rediculous cathy

    ReplyDelete
  25. you will do well to heed his advice then riley.
AND, i aint ridiculous so shush!

    ReplyDelete
  26. 1. i would heed his advice but tonga's just being nice. He and I are both aware i CANNOT do it.
    2. If you think tonga could ever fail, im sorry, but that is extremely rediculous

    ReplyDelete
  27. LOL. tonga you are indeed a wise one. and no probs for the A+ - it was well deserved.
to add to tonga's wise words, confidence and belief in your abilities will take you far..think about that riley ^^
well, im off to maybe study haha cya all tomoro!

  30. Oh yeah, i almost forgot, some Bad news for this blog.
On Wednesday, next week im going on an excursion known as "Meet the Business Leaders"
I have been invited along with other economics/accounting students to attend it.I think jordan is going to that as well along with vincent.

On the following day, on Thursday, there is a year 10 lightning carnival. I'm also attending that along with even more people to coach and have fun playing as a football manager.

  31. someone else gonna bring their ball then?
and itll be a friendly match yeah?

    ReplyDelete
  32. As the boy scouts say "always be prepared". I like to plan ahead of the following events to prevent any mayhem.

    So here;s my plan:
On wednesday, we still play Asians vs Non asians
because not many people are going to that excursion. But me and jordan are going so i entrust the role of keeping scores, honourable mentions, etc. to either riley, or to one of the girls.

wednesday is only one lunch which is good. Then after school you guy/girls give it to jordan. Looks like i'll be joining for kebabs as well.
I think the excursion ends at 2:00pm. so you guys might want to wait till 2:00pm.

    ReplyDelete
  33. ill bring my ball, but yeh, it'd have to be friendly without the two captians and anyone competent enough to organise a proper match

    ReplyDelete
  34. tonga, i'd organise everything, cept no one would listen to me.... coz im me

    ReplyDelete
  35. now on thursday:
me, jan, mikey, thien, kia, vincent, angelo, and some others are going to coach as managers.
Asians has lost way too many players to start the game.
So im suggesting we cancel the Asian vs Non-Asian on that day.
Instead we have another friendly. girls can play, have mixed teams.
I will entrust my soccer ball to Jordan Welsh. I will collect my ball at the end of the day at the front of the school. Make sure on one borrows my ball except jordan.
if u have other suggestions please do share.

    ReplyDelete
  36. im sure we could lend asians some players, the teams will just be smaller
    ill play for asians!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Basically Wednesday and Thursday will be friendlys.

    ReplyDelete
  45. "you probably have to thank the guys who are going on the excursions on wednesday and thursday".

wat tonga meant to say is if the some of the guys at the soccer field didnt go to the excursions on wed/thurs, there wouldnt b any friendlies at all next week!

    ReplyDelete
