I was under the impression the year 8/9s would have the field today so I didn't come down.
Wondering whether the game should be counted. Vote to the right and comment. If the teams were still fair by all means it should be counted but 6-0 seems a little fishy. Also does anyone know whether the year 8/9s are going to be there next week on Tuesday or was it just a one time thing last week? Oh and dont forget to post your prediction of the score tomorrow in the comments.

it should b counted even though we had a few yr 12s on our team at lunch 1, but they were playing by themselves, just defending, not cherry picking. also the Non-asians had a game where u guys had heaps of ppl and thrashed us like 8-2, but actual score was like 15-2 but u took som goals off cos u hav langdon cherry pikcing like 8 goals!!
ReplyDeleteif u read the match on 26th March Thursday, u'll remember wat happened. hell unfair for azns!
ReplyDeletehey everyone,
ReplyDeletethe year nines didnt come down to the oval because they had NAPLAN's tests, or MSE9!! They will be back next week.
With this game being counted or not, I did say this game wasnt going to get counted! But it turned out to be a good game. We did have some year 12s playing but they were'nt cherry picking, just defending. But still that was a bit unfair. But they didnt come at lunch 2.
But the anonymous does have a point. I checked out that match, and it was hugely unfair to asians, with Non- Asians cherry picking (only langdon and aamon no one else) like 6 goals. but they werent counted.
i also remember another match that you guys won by a goal because Bryn cherry picked a goal in that match.
ReplyDeleteSo i'm not sure if this match should be counted. there werent any outnumbered teams.
If it does count. the score was actually 5-1 to asians. One of angelo's goal didnt count because it went over the crossbar not into the goals. And Langdon scored a goal in the first half.
asian- 5: Tonga, Kia(2), Angelo, Jan.
ReplyDeleteNon-asian 1: Langdon.
Man of Match: Jan , a goal and two good assists!
Honourable Mentions:
Angelo: good passing, and nice chip goal
Andrew: played well, with good ball control and passing
Alex: some good defending despite heavy pressure by Asians
Jamal: played well in his defensive midfield postion. well timed interceptions and good clearances
Kia: played well scoring 2 goals.
Ok thats all from me, i got to go study now.
Basically I announced that every Monday and Tuesday for the whole term was being cancelled due to year 9's so a few of out players didn't come down. What you fail to see is that in those games you mentioned above cherry picking wasn't punishable yet and that it wasn't Non-Asians out numbering Asians it was Asians standing around not doing anything (before Tonga motivated them)
ReplyDeleteI've made my points, it's up the people on the internets now.
is the todays game going to b counted or not?
ReplyDeleteasians 5-3
ReplyDeleteI TOLD U JAMAL! I TOLD U ANGELO'S FIRST SHOT WATN A GOAL!!!
ReplyDeletek now, is the game being counted or not?
ReplyDeletethats what all the non-asians look like.
ReplyDelete(refer to the non-asian FC logo at the top)

Jordan abandoned the soccer oval to go hang out with other friends, it doesn't sound like such a bad idea...
