Today's game was pretty good for a change. Instead of having the year 12's dominate play we had them verse us. Might I just say we put out a very good performance.
2 - 0 15 minutes in. Unfortunately defense broke down (mainly because the 6 people on Luca still let him get past.) So they scored one and then Montie shielded his face from a speedy ball with his hands, resulting in a penalty. So at half time the score was 2 - 2
Second half was brilliant play by almost everyone, goals were flying everywhere and a stunning second half hatrick for Norman saw year 11's win 8 - 4, granted the year 12's were fairly out numbered.
Man of the Match: Stunning match, three goals in the second half alone. His last goal was a wonderful piece of finishing. Crosses, passing and shots were perfect, he was a constant threat to the year 12's. Good game:
Honourable Mentions:
Montie: Played very well, defended like it was 1964. He cleared dangerous balls and made the year 12 attackers jobs very difficult.
Tonga: Dominated attack today, holding up the ball, good passing, dribbling and ball control.
Chris: Despite missing several shots he mostly put others first. If there was someone in a better position than him, he'd pass it off rather than go for the shot. His last shot of the second half was literally 2cm away from being a goal. Unlucky.
Agam: Another quality defender, cleared balls, tackled well, passed well. Solid defending.
TQ: Made a fair few decent saves.
Jason: Sorry about forgetting you, there's so many players to remember. Jason played very well today, setting up Norman several times, quick dribbling and taking on defenders. Was always in a good position to recieve ball and had a very good game. Nice.

Go Chelsea FC!
awsum!!!!!!! a soccer match that isnt on at like 2 in the morning!!
ReplyDeleteim rather suprised their not playing at night time in the europe ,since its the finals. thats what they always do.
ReplyDeleteoh almost forgot, its on @ 10:00/ 10:30 tonight on sbs not 9. we're 7 hours ahead of london.
ReplyDeleteKia, check the TV guide and you will find that it starts at 9:00am
ReplyDeletei just checked my guide it says 9:00 to 12:00 and no game goes for 3 hours. so im guessing 10 is when the game starts and the rest is blabbering on. ppl should just check at 9 just to be safe. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah,i think the game actually starts at 9:30pm because of football analysts talking about the game. At half time there's 15 minute break!! and after the game they football analysts will then talk about the game. OR they made the game go for three hours in case its goes to extra time!
ReplyDeleteanlaysts suck ass. all they do is state obvious. i wonder y they get paid so much....
ReplyDeletewhat do you reckon the score will be?
ReplyDelete3-0 for Chlorofluorocarbons
ReplyDeleteI reckon a 2-0 win for Chelsea FC!
ReplyDeleteLampard and Drogba will score!
ReplyDeletedefinitly. i hope essien scores again. his goals are fantastic
ReplyDeletechelsea 3 everton 3 (Full Time)
ReplyDelete(lampard, terry, ballack) (Fellani, Cahill)
That's the score I want to see and then Chelsea win on Penalties. If that happens i'd be thruoughly entertained
i dont like ballack much, and i sure as hell dont want to go to penalties cause those things give me heart attacks if the team i support are in them
ReplyDelete3-1 to chelsea
ReplyDeleteI'm forever blowing bubbles,
ReplyDeletePretty bubbles in the air,
They fly so high, up in the sky,
But like Manchester they fade and die,
Everton always running,
Arsenal running too,
We are the Chelsea blue boys and we're running after you
congratulations to chelsea for winning the f.a cup.
I heard they won.
